Landscape permeability for wildlife

As we found in the SEWRPC plan updates, creatures need buffers and habitat connectivity to survive and thrive.  We need to land use plan based on the impacts of  a full array of development (road building, transmission lines and power plants, urban sprawl, wetland loss) as well as loss of habitat from natural phenomena like fire and drought. We need to create and support habitat connectivity for our own well being and for the animals who live around us.  We do not have the same native species as The Nevada Wilderness Project but we have similar issues with encroachment on habitat.
