Empowered landowners restore properties in the Mukwonago River Watershed

A number of  private landowners in our watershed are managing native restorations on their properties to enhance wildlife, birds, butterflies and native plants.  Kudos to the Landowner Incentive Program, the WI Department of Natural Resources Bureau of Endangered Species, and generous landowners here and throughout the state for their incredible dedication to this important task and their hard work.  Invasive plant removal, prescribed burns, brush piling and burning, native seed gathering and seed dispersal are annual management tasks on these properties.

Many local volunteers give tirelessly of their time and skills to further these projects.  Thanks to all of them.  We could not do it without you!
