40th Anniversary of Earth Day

What will you be doing to show Mother Earth you still care about her? We are all dependent upon her resources and interdependent with everyone  and everything else. Ecology is defined as the branch of biology dealing with the relations and interactions between organisms and their environment, including other organisms. Every day is a day in which we interact with both organisms and their environments.  We listen to birdsong, see turtles crossing the highways, hear coyotes, frogs and owls, watch for changing weather patterns, and interact with our friends and neighbors.  We see garbage blowing on our roads, see smoke and steam rising from stacks, find fish in our streams, and run with our dogs. Every day is Earth Day.
