TNC Restores Meyer Property

Newell and Ann Meyer Nature Preserve returns to its past. The 374-acre preserve was acquired by the Nature Conservancy in 2006 through the Meyers’ estate and is the headwaters of the Mukwonago River. “Our ultimate goal here is native prairie punctuated by 45 acres of oak savannah and woodlands.”

Nice work Nature Conservancy doing the restoration work in the Mukwonago River watershed.
