The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has developed a draft master plan for the Southern Kettle Moraine Waters that includes the Mukwonago River Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest and Lulu Lake State Natural Area, which are located of in Waukesha and Walworth counties, near the Village of Mukwonago.
There will be a public open house on April 12, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at Parkview Middle School, 930 N. Rochester St., Mukwonago, where members of the public can view the draft plan, and talk to DNR staff from parks, wildlife, forestry and planning. A public comment period will be from March 26 through April 23.
