Friends has planned a fun Night Hike again late in the month, October 26 and three volunteer work opportunities on the Waukesha County Land Conservancy’s Meyer Preserve, October 19, November 22, and December 3.
We would love to see you at one or all of these events, which are detailed on our events page and on Facebook Events page.
The Night Hike was a great success last year, led by Dave Swanson, at the Beber Camp and we expect to see you there again. Please RSVP derek.fomr@gmail.com so we have a head count.
For the volunteer work parties wear appropriate clothes, long pants, gloves, etc. to cut or haul brush and help remove invasives on the property. WCLC received a grant to do restoration work on this property and needs volunteer contribution to help with the cost share component of the grant.
